My biggest bicycling problem

other than getting other people onto bikes, that is.
(Lack of) timely service. Automobile service is usually make an appointment, then same-day. A really big job takes two days. Thankfully, I do most of my own repairs, but I can’t do everything (yet). Wheel-building seems to take weeks. I had to send a hub away for warranty service, and it has been almost a month, with no certain word that it has been sent back to me yet.
Thankfully, most things that usually go wrong, I can fix.
Maybe this is an artifact of cycling still being mostly recreational in this country; rather than an even distribution of failures and services, it is instead clustered around weekends.
