Lights in action

My lights are generator-driven, so I don’t get much of a chance to see what they look like.
I was out on a snowy day, lights on of course, and took a few pictures of the lights, attempting to catch them from the relevant angles.
From the side, you can see the yellow flare is in fact bright:
High and in front, you can see all three lights. This much above the horizontal the flare is not doing that much, the yellow spot is visible, not blinding, and it catches a bit of the white.
This is pretty much straight-on into the white. It’s bright; even tinkering with the contrast, the rest of the picture is dim (this was mid-day, in a snow storm).
The yellow spot never gets to show much, but I know it works because far-away reflectors are illuminated in yellow.
